Learn balloons and make a living

An in-person class to start from zero. Not to pass an afternoon: so you leave knowing how to build it, price it and deliver it. Groups of 10, because I can't watch an eleventh pair of hands work.

This class is for you if…

I built it thinking about the person I was when I started.

  • You want to start a balloon business and have no idea where to begin.
  • You already tried on your own with videos and it came out nothing like the video.
  • You're looking for your own income, something you can run from home.
  • You like handmade work and you want it to look professional, not homemade.
  • You need someone to tell you what materials to buy and where, without overspending.

It's not for you if…

  • You're looking for an online class: for now it's in person. I'm recording them and there will be a remote version later.
  • You already work with balloons and want advanced technique. This one starts at the beginning.

How it works

Three steps, same as an order.

  1. 01

    You message me

Tell me you're interested and I'll send you the full outline, the price and the dates of the next group.

  2. 02

    You save your spot

Groups are ten people and fill in order. Once you save, your spot is held under your name.

  3. 03

    You come and practice

We work with our hands the whole session. You leave with your own piece and a list of what you need for the next one.

Why with me

Because I started the same way: not knowing, comparing myself to everyone, taking the work apart three times until it held.

Because I make my living at this in Kyle, delivering every week. What I'll teach you is what I use, not what I read.

Because the goal isn't for you to make one pretty balloon. It's for you to be able to charge for it.

What people ask me about the class

Do I need to know anything beforehand?

Nothing. The class starts at how to inflate and how to tie off. If you already know some, even better, but it isn't required.

How much is it and when is the next one?

Message me and I'll send the price and the dates for the next group. I open them as the ten people come together, so the best time to save a spot is before it fills.

Do I have to bring materials?

Message me before you buy anything: I'll tell you exactly what we use in the session and what's worth owning afterward. Buying materials without knowing is the first wasted expense everybody makes.

Will I be able to charge for work when I finish?

That's the whole point. We leave the session with your piece built and with what you need to build the next one on your own. After that it's practice — and I can walk you through that too.

What if I can't make it the day of my group?

Let me know and I'll move you to the next one. I open groups often.

Will they be available online?

Yes, later on. I'm recording the classes to put together the remote version, but it isn't ready yet. If that's the one you want, message me and I'll let you know as soon as it opens.

The next group is ten people

Message me and I'll send the outline, the price and the date. If you decide, I'll hold your spot under your name.
